Acknowledgment

By purchasing a ticket to this event means you acknowledge and accept these terms.

Yoga Waiver

Yoga includes both physical movement as well as opportunities for relaxation, stress reduction and relief of muscular tension. As with all physical activity, the risk of injury cannot be entirely eliminated. I understand that participating in movement classes can carry a risk. I accept all responsibility for that risk. 

NOTE- If at any time during the class, you feel discomfort or strain, gently come out of the posture. You may rest at any time during the class. It is important in yoga that you listen to your body, and respect its limits on any given day. 

Medical disclaimer

I understand that all education and information provided on the Wellness Workshop & Retreat is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice or treatment. Marique Knight does not diagnose, cure or treat any illness and disease, she provides health education and support. Please seek guidance from your Primary Care Physician before embarking on any new wellness regime. 

Personal Responsibility & Liability

Any health and wellbeing information shared by the Marique Knight, or other teachers, during the retreat is to be used at my discretion and at my own risk. 

I accept my health and safety, with respect to such services provided on the retreat, are my sole responsibility. I hereby release Marique Knight and teachers of the Wellness Workshop & Retreat of all liability and responsibilities pertaining to my participation in yoga classes, wellness talks and retreat activities.

Photos & Media

We will also be capturing various parts of the retreat and can share these with you at the end if you like. These photos will be used across social platforms, and for marketing purposes. If you would NOT like to be recognized in any media please let Marique know via email before the event. Without any notification from you, it is accepted that you give consent and are happy with Marique (and the organisers) to use these photos across various media.

Refunds

Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable. However, if for some reason you are no longer able to attend the retreat you are welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else. Where possible we will do our best to assist with this, however please understand this is an intimate event, and we are a small team (who put our love and soul into these retreats) so we do not have the capacity to offer refunds.

In the unforeseen event of the retreat being cancelled for any reason beyond our control, we will do our best to reschedule a new date, or tickets will be valid for a future retreat date within 6 months.
